| Flexible structure is a typical form of space structure and it has the feature of low fundamental modal frequency, dense modes and low damping. This structure is apt to be vibrated when excited by dis turbances. The vibration has a bad influence on precise instruments. However, th e traditional passive control doesn′t work well. Recently, active control metho d by using piezoceramic elements is regarded as a prospect to suppress the vibra tion. By optimal design of numbers and position of sensors and actuators, an ind ividual mode control strategy is applied to a flexible beam which is used to sim ulate space structures. The results show that the method is effective. |
