| A single chip microcontroller system for m ulti-channel cordless telephone is developed. The system includes of the princ iple of the cordless telephone system, the design of the software and the interf ace circuits. In this system, the DTMF signal is generated by the software and t he power of the handset is saved to lengthen the standby time, 10 channels are a vailable for user to be selected. The system identification code is automaticall y set as the handset is charged. The caution ring is generated when the power o f the handset is low. The intercommunication is available between the baseset an d the handset. The system has the following features: low cost, good reliability , low power consumption, long standby time of the handset (72 h). |
